Líneas – Valle Secreto

As its name indicates, it is the first wine bottled by Viña Valle Secreto; its first edition, its first Secret. Its perfect balance between fruit, barrel, acidity, its excellent structure and balance make our exclusive First Edition line a unique wine destined to surprise and delight.

Wines

The characteristics of the Private line are given thanks to the unique climatic conditions where the wind and the thermal oscillation between day and night give our wines their delicate tannins and fine aromas from which their Terroir is expressed, of loamy soils, Clayey and stones in profile.

The main characteristic of these wines is their freshness and excellent balance between alcohol and acidity.

Wines

Some time ago some wineries in Burgundy, France; they started using concrete eggs as a way to round out the tannins in red wines without having to use the barrels.

The trend of making wines in concrete egg-shaped ponds is multiplying in the world, for the production of high-end wines.

By its shape we make everything that is inside it flows. There are no corners, the movement of the wine is constant without the use of pumps and with this we manage to round tannins that are polished with the porous walls of the egg whose material comes from nature, and even more so from our own “Terroir”.

We currently have 4 Egg-shaped Stone Ponds and each one keeps a strain inside, these wines are kept between 8 and 10 months in the prior mentioned ponds.

Wines

Our Icon wine comes from our vineyards located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in the Alto Cachapoal valley. We have an excellent Terroir and the vineyards are carefully managed to obtain the best of each variety and the expression of the valley that characterizes us. Profundo comes from the selection of the best quarters of each vine, each quarter contributes a special character and each plant its own style that give rise to this great wine.
