What is the Sustainability Code?
The Sustainability Code is a voluntary instrument that aims to bring sustainable practices into wine companies through requirements in three complementary areas: green (vineyard), red (winery) and orange (management). Its goal is to promote the benefits of sustainable production of high-quality grapes and wines, encouraging growers and winemakers to improve their management by meeting the requirements set out in the standard.
